2026 EUROLEAGUE BASKETBALL SUPERCUP ABU DHABI
TICKET TERMS, EVENT POLICIES & FAQ
1. TICKET TERMS
Identification of the Parties
Ticket Seller: The seller of the Event tickets is the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi as the entity licensed by Euroleague Ventures S.A. The Ticket Seller is responsible for all Ticket sales, payment processing and handling and inquiries or claims related to the Event Ticket purchases.
Authorized Ticket Agent: Yas Bay Arena Sole Proprietorship LLC (YBA) operates the official ticket sales platform for the Event (the “Official Platform”) and acts as the authorized ticket agent and Merchant of Record on behalf of the Ticket Seller.
Organizer: The organizer of the Event is Euroleague Ventures S.A., a company based in 60 Grand Rue, L-1660 Luxembourg, responsible for the planning, production and operation of the Event.
The Ticket Seller, acting directly or through the Authorized Ticket Agent, is responsible for all matters related to the sale, distribution, and handling of Tickets, including but not limited to payment processing, delivery of Tickets, customer support and refund and exchanges. The Organizer is not responsible for any aspect related to the sale of Tickets, which is handled exclusively by the Ticket Seller and the Authorized Ticket Agent. Consequently, the Organizer will not be liable for any damage, loss or issue arising from the purchase or use of Tickets. This includes but is not limited to errors during payment processing, issues with Ticket delivery or problems accessing the Event with invalid Tickets.
Ticket Product, Purchase & Delivery
Ticket entitlement: Each Ticket entitles the holder only to the Event gameday(s) and game(s) specified in the Ticket or ticket product purchased. A 2-Day Package provides access to both Event days, while a Single-Day Ticket provides access only to the relevant gameday.
Every customer can order a maximum of four (4) Tickets.
A certain amount of Tickets for attendees requiring accessible seating has been reserved. To submit a request, customers must complete the accessible seating request form and upload a valid disability certificate issued by a competent authority. All submissions will be reviewed by the Customer Care Team. If the request is approved, the customer will receive an approval email containing a link through which they may purchase an accessible Ticket. Each accessible Ticket includes entry for the accessible guest and one companion; therefore, the companion Ticket is not purchased separately. Only one person will be authorized to accompany the accessible seat holder. If the request is rejected, the customer will receive a rejection email, and no Ticket may be purchased under the accessible seating category. Accessible seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis due to the limited number of seats available. The certificate will be used exclusively to confirm access to accessible seating area. After the Event, this information will be securely deleted.
Digital Tickets must be downloaded through the ticketing website or into a supported mobile wallet (Apple Wallet or Android Wallet). Screenshots or static image copies will not be accepted for entry. The Ticket must be displayed in its original, unaltered digital format. The Ticket Holder is solely responsible for ensuring their mobile device is fully functional, sufficiently charged, and the Ticket is readily accessible for scanning upon arrival at the Venue. Denial of entry due to insufficient battery, a cracked or defective mobile screen, lack of connectivity, inability to access the ticketing website or software will be the sole responsibility of the Ticket Holder and shall not entitle to a refund or compensation.
Access is also permitted with a printed Ticket (print@home). Such Tickets must be printed clearly on clean, uncreased white DIN A4 paper. The barcode must be legible and free of folds or contact with liquids. Neither the Ticket Seller, the Authorized Ticket Agent nor the Organizer shall be responsible for access denial resulting from poor print quality (e.g., illegible barcode or incorrect information being displayed) which prevents automated scanning. Customer shall have their Ticket ready to show at the Venue entrance and shall keep it with them during the whole duration of the Event.
Resale, transfer or any other form of disposition of Tickets is strictly prohibited.
Security, Conduct & Access
The Ticket Holder agrees to submit to security searches, frisking, and inspection of their belongings upon entry and while inside the Venue. Bags larger than 30 x 30 x 15 cm and any object deemed unsafe by security personnel are not permitted. No storage or cloakroom facilities are available. Refusal to comply with security procedures will result in denial of entry or ejection without refund.
The Organizer and/or Etihad Arena reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to refuse admission to or immediately eject any Ticket Holder from the Venue without refund if the Ticket Holder: (i) refuses to comply with any security search or inspection of their person or belongings; (ii) is visibly intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances; (iii) engages in abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or disorderly conduct, or otherwise disrupts the Event; (iv) is found in possession of any prohibited item; (v) fails to present a valid Ticket or uses a Ticket in breach of these Terms and Conditions; or (vi) presents a fraudulent, falsified, or duplicated Ticket, or ID that does not match the Ticket Holder details.
The Ticket Holder is expressly prohibited from: a) entering or attempting to enter any area of the Venue that is not intended for public access or enjoyment (e.g., offices, storage units, locker rooms, back-of-house areas) without proper credentials; b) interfering with the free passage of game attendees by deliberately obstructing or blocking aisles, walkaways, or areas commonly used for public access or egress; c) taking, defacing, damaging, or destroying any property not belonging to them (including littering, spitting, or defacing venue property); d) consuming tobacco products (including e-cigarettes and vaping devices) inside or immediately adjacent to the Venue, except in designated areas.
The Ticket Holder is expressly prohibited from engaging in the following actions or possessing the following items inside or adjacent to the Venue:
- Weapons and dangerous items: any weapons whatsoever, including but not limited to knives, guns, brass knuckles, flares / firecrackers, poles / sticks, laser pointers, or any other device that can be used to cause harm or injury to another person.
- Interfering noise items: whistles, horns, sirens or megaphones, particularly those that make a sound similar to the scorer’s table signals.
- Throwing any object onto the court or into the spectator area.
- Unauthorized activity: distributing, displaying (including on apparel), placing handbills, flyers or posters, playing music, promoting brands, or conducting any form of business or commercial activity, unless authorized in writing by the Organizer.
- Flags are not permitted. Any permitted banners or signs must not be affixed to Venue handrails, stairs, or other locations in a way that may violate emergency evacuation procedures or public safety, and remain subject to the Organizer’s prior approval.
- Failing to wear an appropriate attire (including but not limited to wearing a shirt) and footwear, engaging in sexual conduct; or failing to maintain personal hygiene and clothing cleanliness that complies with commonly acceptable social standards.
- Covering the face at any time, unless required by public health regulations (e.g., medical face mask).
- Any other item and/or action not listed above that may be considered inappropriate at any time by the Organizer.
For the comfort of all attendees, the Ticket Holder is kindly requested to arrive at the Venue at least two (2) hours prior to the start of the game. Ticket Holders arriving after the scheduled commencement of the game may only be allowed to enter the Venue seating during an appropriate break in the match action or a stoppage in play. Seating will be managed according to the instructions of the Event staff, and entry to the specific seat assigned on the Ticket cannot be guaranteed after the game has begun.
Each Ticket (and the barcode included) authorizes only one entrance to the Venue per gameday. Once a Ticket Holder leaves the Venue on a specific gameday, the Ticket is considered utilized and cannot be used for re-entry. Ticket Holders leaving the Venue during a game or between two games of a gameday will not be readmitted under any circumstance with the same Ticket.
Defective Tickets, including but not limited to Tickets not being displayed due to defective mobile phone, or insufficient battery, illegible printing, or missing seat numbers, will be rejected at the entrance to the Venue without any right to a refund or compensation. The Ticket Holder is responsible for ensuring the Ticket is complete, legible and properly displayed.
The Ticket Holder must sit only in their assigned reserved seat and must be prepared to show their valid Ticket to ushers, stewards, or security personnel upon request at any time inside the Venue.
For anti-fraud and security verification purposes, the Ticket Holder shall have a valid ID or passport available upon entrance to the Venue, as it might be requested to be shown, to match it with their purchase. The Organizer will not process or store this information, nor will it create a file with it.
The Ticket Holder agrees to comply with all current health, safety and security policies of the Organizer and the Venue, including any rules related to public health (e.g., face coverings). These rules may change at any time and failure to comply will constitute grounds for refusal of entry or immediate ejection without refund. Individuals are strongly encouraged to report any failure to adhere to the applicable Terms and Conditions or Venue Rules to security personnel or any other official channel made available by the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to alter the seating for safety and security reasons at any time, before and/or during the Event, without granting the Ticket Holder any right to having Tickets being exchanged, money refunded or compensation of any kind. The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any interruptions, obstructions, or restrictions to the view of the games or the Event, which may arise due to the location of the assigned seat or the actions of other spectators.
Intellectual Property, Media & Data Use
All intellectual property rights related to the Event, including but not limited to the name, logo, branding, artwork, and any other materials associated with the Event, are the exclusive property of the Organizer (including all intellectual property provided by participating clubs and partners for use in connection with the Event).
Ticket Holders acknowledge and agree that they shall not use, reproduce, or distribute any of the Event-related intellectual property without the prior written consent of the Organizer. Furthermore, the Ticket Holder is prohibited from manufacturing, distributing, or selling any unauthorized merchandise featuring the intellectual property of the Event, and shall not attempt to register any trademark, domain name, or social media handle confusingly similar to the Event’s name or branding.
The use of any electronic device to transmit, record, broadcast, or sell data, audio, video, or images from inside Etihad Arena for commercial or betting purposes (including “courtside data scraping”) is strictly prohibited.
With due regard to the state of the art and given the particularities of the Event and the international broadcast of the same, all Ticket Holders who attend the Event and enter the Venue acknowledge that their image, likeness and/or voice may be captured, recorded and broadcasted in connection with the Event. This includes but is not limited to television broadcasts, online streaming, promotional content and in-event signage. The Ticket Holder further acknowledges that all such content created from the Event may be used by Euroleague Ventures S.A. and their respective affiliates (including Euroleague Properties S.A.) and the Event sponsors, licensees and collaborators, participating clubs, partners and accredited media organizations and service providers for the mentioned purposes without compensation and for the maximum period permitted by law, considering that the Ticket Holder entry in the Venue constitutes consent to such uses.
If Ticket Holder would like to request seats with limited exposure for their image, likeness and/or voice, please send an email to f4tickets@euroleague.net so that we can find a better place for you.
Additionally, Ticket Holders acknowledge that photographic images and/or audio and visual and/or audiovisual recordings may be used by Organizer, Ticket Seller or Venue operator or by a competent authority (such as a law enforcement body) and authorized service providers to identify Ticket Holders as an individual, for the purposes of preventing or detecting crime or any breach of any part of these Terms and Conditions.
Refunds, Cancellations and Event Changes
Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable, except as expressly set out in these Terms or where required by applicable law.
The Official Platform is provided “as is”, and the Organizer, the Ticket Seller and the Authorized Ticket Agent do not guarantee that it will be free from errors or interruptions at all times. The Ticket Holder acknowledges that the website or platform may occasionally be unavailable or experience technical issues. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without prejudice to the Ticket Holder’s mandatory consumer rights, neither the Organizer, the Ticket Seller and the Authorized Ticket Agent shall be liable for any indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of the website or platform, including any delay or temporary inability to use it. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall operate so as to limit or exclude any liability for gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
The Ticket Seller reserves the right to subject any order to a security check and may require the Ticket Holder to submit additional documentation to validate the purchase and prevent credit card fraud. Failure to provide the requested documentation will result in the order being unconfirmed and subsequently cancelled.
Furthermore, the Ticket Seller and Organizer reserve the right to permanently cancel or terminate the account of a Ticket Holder and/or invalidate any Tickets associated in case of breach of these Terms and Conditions or by improperly using the website, including but not limited to fraudulent attempts, automated purchasing or unauthorized resale activity.
Where the purchase includes a physical delivery (e.g., merchandise or Ticket packs), the Ticket Holder is responsible for being aware of and liable to pay any fees or charges applied by the border or customs services for international deliveries. Such customs duties, taxes or charges shall be borne exclusively by the Ticket Holder. Neither the Organizer , the Ticket Seller or the Authorized Ticket Agent shall be liable for such customs fees.
Tickets purchased through any channel, entity, or platform other than the official ticket sales platforms, including but not limited to unauthorized resellers or unofficial secondary markets, social media groups or unauthorized third parties, shall under no circumstances be entitled to any refund, exchange, replacement, entry or financial compensation of any kind.
The Organizer, the Ticket Seller and the Authorized Ticket Agent assume zero liability for fraudulent, invalid, duplicated or unauthorized tickets sold outside official channels. All sales completed outside the designated official platforms are strictly final, null, and void at the holder’s sole risk.
The Authorized Ticket Agent, as Merchant of Record, is primarily responsible for processing payments, refunds and Ticket exchanges in relation to purchases made through the Official Platform. Any issues, disputes or questions or requests regarding payments, refunds or exchanges should be addressed to the Authorized Ticket Agent.
In the event of cancellation, or significant relocation of the Event, all Ticket Holders who purchased Tickets through the official ticket sales platforms will be entitled to a refund of the Gross Face Value of their Tickets.
The refunded amount will exclude the Authorized Ticket Agent commission and the Handling Fee, which are considered services fully rendered and non-refundable, where and to the extent permitted by applicable law, subject to the conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
The refund process will be managed by the Authorized Ticket Agent and completed no later than thirty (30) days after the official notification of cancellation or the acceptance of the refund request made by the Ticket Holder.
Game abandonment: if the Event, or a specific game, is cancelled or abandoned after its scheduled commencement, the Ticket Holder shall only be entitled to a partial or full refund if less than fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled playing time has been completed. Otherwise, the Ticket Holder shall not be entitled to any refund. If the Ticket grants access to more than one game, this rule shall apply on a per-game basis or as further detailed in the official Event FAQs.
Minor changes: minor changes to the Event schedule, including reasonable changes to start times, match order, or date changes within a 24-hour window, shall not constitute a material breach of these Terms and Conditions and shall not entitle the Ticket Holder to a refund, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Force Majeure limit: in the event of the cancellation or modification of the Event due to events beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, acts of God or government order, the liability of the Organizer, Ticket Seller and Authorized Ticket Agent shall be limited solely to the Gross Face Value of the Ticket. “Gross Face Value” means the face value of the Ticket paid by the Ticket Holder, excluding any Authorized Ticket Agent commission, Handling Fee, delivery fee, insurance product, optional add-on or other ancillary charge.
Liability
Neither the Organizer, the Ticket Seller nor the Authorized Ticket Agent shall be liable for any indirect, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to travel costs, accommodation expenses, or any loss of enjoyment, arising from the cancellation, postponement or material change of the Event. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the Ticket Holder’s mandatory consumer rights or exclude liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Neither the Organizer, Ticket Seller nor the Authorized Ticket Agent shall be responsible for any lost or stolen Tickets and accepts no obligation to reissue such Tickets. The Organizer, the Ticket Seller and Authorized Ticket Agent shall also not be responsible for defects, including illegible print, insufficient battery power, or damaged mobile display, attributable to the Ticket Holder’s device or printing.
Where a defect of a Ticket is entirely attributable to the Authorized Ticket Agent (e.g., duplicate barcode or printing error), the Authorized Ticket Agent shall, upon provision of sufficient evidence from the Ticket Holder, block the defective Ticket and issue a new Ticket. The Ticket Holder must notify the Authorized Ticket Agent of such a defect at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the start of the first game of the Event.
By attending the Event, the Ticket Holder acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with the nature of the Event (e.g., personal injury or damage to property). Neither, the Organizer, Ticket Seller or the Authorized Ticket Agent or the Venue shall be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or harm, except in cases of liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death and personal injury to the extent it cannot be lawful excluded.
In the event of the Ticket Holder’s breach of these Terms and Conditions, unlawful act, negligence or wilful misconduct, including actions that lead to the cancellation or disruption of the Event, the Ticket Holder shall be held fully responsible for any damages, losses, or costs incurred by the Organizer, Ticket Seller, Authorized Ticket Agent, the Venue operator, and their respective affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents, including but not limited to financial loss, and any penalties imposed. The Ticket Holder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer, Ticket Seller, Authorized Ticket Agent and the Venue Operator and their respective affiliates, officers, employees, contractors and agents from any claims, demands, or actions arising out of their failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions, including any actions that directly or indirectly result in the Event being cancelled or disrupted.
Courtside & Bench Seat Rules
Purchase and possession of a Courtside or Bench Seat Ticket constitutes binding acceptance of the following specific rules, which are essential to the safety and conduct of the game:
- Seating requirement: Ticket Holders must remain seated while the game is in progress. Standing is limited to a minimum.
- Movement restrictions: accessing or leaving courtside seats is only permitted when the game is not in play (e.g., during timeouts, breaks or intermissions).

- Interference: no banners, signs, flags or items of clothing that obstruct the visibility of others are permitted in the courtside seat areas. Ticket Holders may not interfere with portable TV cameras or accredited staff’s photography or video recording.
- Ticket Holders may not wear or display apparel, signage, or electronic devices featuring messaging, branding or logos that are commercially visible to the broadcast camera or that are political, discriminatory, offensive, or otherwise disruptive to the Event’s family-friendly atmosphere.
- The use of bright electronic devices (e.g., phones, tablets) must be minimized during live play to avoid distracting players, referees, or interfering with broadcast lighting. Flash photography is strictly prohibited.
- Ticket Holder acknowledges that due to the close proximity to the court, the risk of personal injury, including but not limited to being struck by basketballs, equipment, or players, is significantly heightened. The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risks associated with attending the Event in this location.
Violation of these provisions is deemed a material breach of these Terms and Conditions and may result in immediate removal from the Venue without refund.
